Pricing and Scheduling ~ Terms and Conditions

** Payment of the deposit and/or full amount indicates agreement with, and acceptance of, these Terms and Conditions.

Securing a Date: A booking is not considered secure until receipt of one of the following:

1. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required when booking before December 1. This deposit secures a booking date.  The remainder is due one week before the scheduled appearance.  If the remainder is not paid, SLO Santa reserves the right to cancel the appearance, and the 50% deposit is non-refundable.

2. The full amount is required when booking on or after December 1.

Refund Policy: The fees are 50% refundable if cancellation occurs at least 48 hours before the appearance.

Due to the time needed to book another appearance, there are no refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of the appearance.

Due to the nature of SLO Santa’s wardrobe and activities, SLO Santa reserves the right to cancel an appearance due to inclement weather, especially when the event exposes SLO Santa to rain, wind, mud, clients’ wet clothing, etc.  Appearances which are canceled by SLO Santa due to inclement weather are refundable.  (Such cancellations will be determined in a conversation between SLO Santa and the client.)

Photography: Any and all photos taken of SLO Santa, whether by individuals or professional photographers, are to be for private, personal, or not-for-profit social media use of the client.  For-profit commercial use of photos requires written permission of SLO Santa.  SLO Santa reserves the right to have a personal photographer at the event, and owns the rights to photos taken by said photographer.

Parking:  Due to many factors (an often tight schedule, safety, the element of surprise, setup needs, etc.) SLO Santa needs a reserved parking place, as close to the event location as possible.

Food, Drinks, Messy Materials:  Due to SLO Santa’s bespoke wardrobe, these items need to be disposed of or left elsewhere before approaching Santa for photos and/or visits; hands and faces also need to be clean for visits.
